PUBLIC NOTICE: DRJSMLM WARNS THE PUBLIC OF THE JOB SCAM 30 AUGUST 2024The Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality (DRJSMLM) has recently noted with concern of yet another job scam and would like to warn the members of the public against this scam. This current job scam involves an appointment letter bearing the municipal logo and contact details. The scammer is emailing appointment letters to the prospective job seekers purporting to be from the municipal recruitment team and the letter to be approved by some Mr SG Khuzwayo claiming to be from the municipal Technical Services Department.In order to maintain the integrity of our municipal recruitment processes and to eliminate the exploitation of the potential applicants, all applying for vacancies advertised by the DRJSMLM are reminded that under no circumstances will the municipality charge any recruitment or any fee for the advertised vacancies, municipal jobs are not for sale.The Municipality strongly advises the public to take note of this recent job scam, not to react to it, not to pay any required fee, be vigilant to suspicious job invitations, not to accept the job interviews for the positions they have never applied for.
