WATER MATTERS In tackling water challenges the municipality has been involved in numerous projects to enhance water supply to our communities.In ward 30 the project to renovate the water pump station is now concluded, water to be adequately supplied to the residents of Phake (those with water reticulation network) and those residing closer to renovated pump station, as now there are taps installed outside the pump station.In Ward 23a borehole located at the Marapyane Community Hall is fixed.In Ward 34 another borehole has been fixed at Greenside Gandry, water trucks will now be able to source water from the gantry to supply the local communities. ... WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION There is a leakage identified on the Kuilen Bulk Water supply pipeline, as a result the supply to Kuilen reservoir had to be stopped to allow the repair of the leaking pipe. The maintenance team is on site working tirelessly to repair and fix the leaking pipe. The residents of Mthambothini, Ekosoni, Weldevreden, Thabana and Ramokgeletsane are to experience water supply interruptions. Water is expected to be restored by 03 May 2024.
